A quiet courtyard in the heart of the medina
Seven rooms around a tiled patio, a rooftop terrace above the minarets and a small hammam — ten minutes' walk from Jemaa el-Fna.

A family house, restored with Moroccan craftsmen
Riad Zahra was a merchant's house before we restored it, with tadelakt walls, carved cedar doors and a zellige fountain in the courtyard. Our small team looks after seven rooms only, so we know every guest by name — and we cook, arrange and drive as if you were staying with friends.

Everything a medina stay should be
Seven rooms
From a cosy garden room to the Zahra suite with its own balcony.
Rooftop terrace
Breakfast in the morning sun, mint tea at sunset, dinner under the stars.
Small hammam
A traditional steam bath with black soap and a gommage, for two at a time.
Arranged for you
Cooking class, desert trip, guided souk walk — all booked by us.
Walk the medina with us
Before you arrive, take a stroll through the lanes and souks around the riad: spice stalls, copper lanterns, carpet sellers and the bustle of the old city, just as you will find them a few steps from our door.
Film by Wanna Walk, shared from their YouTube channel. Watch the full walk “Walking Tour of Marrakech Old Medina Souk — Morocco 4K” on YouTube.
What our guests say
Fatima and her team made us feel like family. Breakfast on the terrace with the call to prayer drifting over the rooftops is something we will never forget.
The most peaceful place in the medina. Our room was spotless, the hammam was blissful and the cooking class was the highlight of our trip.
Hassan met us at the gate and carried our bags through the lanes. Within minutes we had mint tea by the fountain.
Seven rooms means real attention. They arranged our desert trip and booked a perfect dinner on the roof.
Beautiful zellige, beautiful people. We have already booked again.
Dinner under the stars was the best meal of our holiday, and the tagine was better than any restaurant in the souk.
