A week of blue on Sifnos
A small whitewashed house for four, a terrace that faces the sea and a little beach five minutes away on foot. Arrive on a Saturday, and let the island slow you down.
The holiday starts the moment you open the blue shutters.
Salt on your skin, figs on the table, the church bell at noon and the whole sky turning orange at nine.

The house
Small, white, and facing the sea
Aegean Blue House is a traditional Cycladic house that Eleni’s grandparents built from island stone. Thick walls keep it cool at noon; the terrace catches the breeze and every sunset.
“Every evening the whole island stops to watch the sun go down. From our terrace, you have the best seat.”
Eleni, your host
Your week on Sifnos
Seven days, nothing to rush
Sifnos is the gentlest island of the Cyclades: no airport, no crowds, just paths, chapels, potters and some of the best cooking in Greece.

Beaches for every mood
A little cove five minutes away for your morning swim, long sandy bays for lazy afternoons.
White villages
Apollonia, Artemonas and Kastro, the medieval village above the sea.
The island of cooks
Chickpea stew baked overnight, mastelo lamb, honey pies.
Boat trips
Caves, hidden beaches, a swim stop off Kitriani.
Old stone paths
A hundred kilometres of marked trails between monasteries.
A taste of the light
Blue sky, white walls, warm stone

Postcards from our guests
We came for a week and cried when we left. The terrace at sunset is pure magic.
Eleni left us a basket of figs, local cheese and a bottle of wine, and a hand-drawn map of her favourite beaches. Every single one was perfect.
Spotless, cool even in August.
The little beach below the house was almost ours every morning. Our kids still talk about the octopus they saw from the rocks.
Saturday to Saturday is the right rhythm: by Wednesday you forget what day it is.
Best revithada of our lives, at the taverna Eleni recommended in Kastro.
