Three years of quiz nights, two sponsored walks, one very long grant application and the support of our partners: the training pitch at Mill Meadow finally has its six new LED floodlight masts.
What changes
- Training until 9pm on weeknights from October to March, for every team
- Half the energy of the old bulbs, and no more dark corner by the hedge
- Two extra slots a week for the academy, so the waiting list for under-8s shrinks
Thank you
To every quiz team, every baker and every volunteer who held a bucket at the gate: these are your lights. A special thank you to Harbourside Builders, who dug the trenches for free, and to Quayside Electrical for the wiring.
The training timetable for members is in the members' area.
