Meet the squads
From five-year-olds learning to stop a ball with their feet to a first team chasing the league title. Same shirt, same rules, same tea hut.

Saturdays · 3pm
First XI
Second in Division One and still in the County Senior Cup. A young side built on the academy: seven of this season's starters came through our under-16s.

Sundays · 2pm
Rovers Women
Founded in 2009 by six mums who wanted a game, now County Cup quarter-finalists. New players of every level welcome, from first-timers to returners.
Saturdays · 2:30pm
The Reserves
Back from injury, back from university, or back after twenty years off: the Reserves are where everyone gets minutes. Over-35s very welcome.

Academy · Under-7s to under-16s
Nine age groups, one rule
Everyone plays at least half of every match. Boys and girls train together up to under-11s; from under-12s there is a girls' team in each age group.

Jo Whitfield
Founder player of Rovers Women in 2009, now a PE teacher at the town's secondary school.

Callum Reid
Runs the Reserves and the Thursday five-a-side for anyone who just wants a game.

Tom Vermeulen
Grew up in Utrecht and played for our twin club VV Oudegracht. Oversees nine age groups and forty volunteer coaches, in English and Dutch.

Gareth Pryce
Every keeper at the club, from under-9s to the First XI, on Monday nights.

Amira Haddad
Came through our under-16s herself; County Cup winner with Rovers Women in 2022.
