Family law, one step at a time
Four areas, one approach: understand what matters to you and your children, then find the calmest route there.

01 · Divorce and separation
Divorce without blame
Since April 2022, divorce in England and Wales is no-fault: nobody has to prove anything against the other. We file online, as a sole or a joint application, and keep you informed at every stage.
Application
We prepare and file the application, alone or jointly with your spouse.
Conditional order
After the 20-week reflection period, we apply for the conditional order.
Final order
Six weeks and one day later, ideally once your finances are settled.
International couples
Married in France or living between two countries? We check where you can, and should, divorce.
02 · Child arrangements
The children come first
The law puts your children’s welfare first, and so do we. Most parents agree arrangements with our help; when they cannot, we guide you through court with as little conflict as possible.

03 · Financial settlements
A fair split, made binding
A divorce does not end financial claims: only a court order does. We help you divide what you have built together, then make it final.
Consent orders
Already agreed? We turn your agreement into a legally binding order approved by the court, usually within eight to twelve weeks.
The family home
Selling, transferring or keeping the house, and what happens to the mortgage.
Pensions and savings
Pension sharing orders, offsetting and independent actuarial reports.
Family businesses
Valuations and fair arrangements that keep the business running.
Assets in France
Property, assurance-vie and French pensions, with partner notaires in Paris and Lyon.

04 · Mediation
Decide together
Our accredited mediator, Priya Shah, works with both of you, never for one side. Mediation is usually faster, far cheaper and kinder to children than going to court.
