Every piece that leaves our bench comes back to it whenever it needs to. Seams, edges, handles, buckles: we mend them by hand, at no cost, for as long as the leather lasts.

Thirty years, one bag
What a vegetable-tanned bag goes through, and when it might come back to see us.
Honey-coloured and stiff
It stands on its own and smells of the tannery. The handles still feel new in the hand.
The patina arrives
The colour deepens to cognac where your hands hold it. The leather softens and takes your shape.
A first visit
The thread on the handles is worn. We unpick it and sew it again, in the same holes. Free.
New edges
The edges are re-dyed and burnished, a rivet is reset. It goes home looking ten years younger.
