The catalogue
Violins, viola, cello

2025 “Mirecourt” violin
Stradivari 1715 model. Vosges spruce top, flamed maple back, amber oil varnish. A clear, round sound, very responsive under the bow.

Violin after Guarneri 1743
Fuller arching, bold f-holes, deep brown varnish with light shading. A powerful, dark voice, made for orchestra and stage.

Mirecourt school violin, around 1890
A fine instrument from Mirecourt’s golden age, fully restored in the workshop: cracks reglued, new fingerboard and bridge, new soundpost.

40.5 cm viola, my own model
A viola with a comfortable size but a generous low register. Vosges spruce, Bosnian maple, golden varnish. Ideal for a violist who plays for hours.

Cello after Montagnana
A great Venetian pattern, a deep bass and singing highs. Amber oil varnish, concert set-up. Comes with a hard case.

The workshop’s study violin
Made and set up here, for the conservatoire student moving up to a full-size violin. A true luthier’s sound, at a price that stays reasonable.
