Coffee roasted by hand, poured like a favour

Six single-origin coffees roasted twice a week in our little brick roastery, and brewed just down the hall in our café.

Roasted in 12 kg batches, by people you can wave to

Ember Roasters started in 2016 with a second-hand drum roaster and a stubborn idea: great coffee should feel as friendly as a neighbour's kitchen. We buy directly from farms we know, roast in small batches twice a week and write our tasting notes by hand on every bag. Come and watch the roaster on Saturday mornings, we will pour you a cup.

The Guji is the best coffee I have had at home. Fruity, clean, and the little handwritten label is a lovely touch.

We switched our restaurant to Ember last year. The team's training and the consistency made it a no-brainer.
